"Folding@home is one of the world's fastest computing systems, with a speed of approximately 40.2 petaFLOPS . . . making it the world's most powerful computing system. This performance from its large-scale computing network has allowed researchers to run computationally expensive atomic-level simulations of protein folding thousands of times longer than previously achieved. Since its launch on October 1, 2000, the Pande lab has produced 114 scientific research papers as a direct result of Folding@home."

It’s important to read this. We are dog owners too and we enjoy having dogs stay in our cabins. There are many forest trails for you to walk – your dog will love it! Our policy on dogs is that any damage or major cleaning (at our discretion, and we may hire professional help to do it) and loss of business will be billed in addition to the room rate. Dogs must be calm, quiet, obedient, and friendly to people and other animals including free ranging chickens on the property. Dogs must be on a leash outside the cabin. Anyone not meeting this request, and whose dog injures or kills a chicken, is subject to a $50 fine plus they may be asked to leave. You must be in control of the dog at all times, including barking, so that it is not an annoyance. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. If we find pet hair on the bed, you will be billed extra for commercial cleaning of the quilt, comforter, sheets, pillow cases, mattress pad (very expensive) and for any loss of cabin rental which results (potentially hundreds of dollars). If we find scratched wood, broken screen doors or other damage, you will be billed for the repairs and any loss of business which could run into the thousands of dollars. You should take them with you during the day when you leave unless you can crate the dog and it won't bark while you are gone (even dogs that don’t bark when left at home may bark when they are left in a strange, new place). We ask that you scoop any droppings from footpaths (we provide scooper) and leave the waste in the woods instead of picking it up with plastic bags and putting it in the trash. Thank you. We’re sure you and your dog will have a wonderful time together here.
