Grunberg Haus Vermont Cabins
In addition to the Grunberg Haus Inn building, there are three separate Vermont forest cabins, each designed for a relaxing and romantic getaway for a couple. The inn is open year around and the cabins are open from late May to the end of October. The cabins are located in the forest behind the inn and are accessible by a hiking trail. The trail to the cabins is a one to two minute walk along a natural, uphill path that is the equivalent of climbing six flights of stairs.
Each cabin measures about 16 by 16 feet square and features:
These are cozy and romantic Green Mountain getaway cabins at their best - woodsy, informal, peaceful. A perfect place to hide out in a Vermont forest for a few days!
All three cabins are similar, just decorated a little bit differently. They are about 50 feet apart and are surrounded by trees, many of them towering white pines.
The cabins rent for $155/night. From September 27 through late October 2013, the cabins are $185/night. Those rates are for one or two people and include full cooked breakfast at the inn each morning. They also include all linen, towels, and daily housekeeping so you can just relax. We give a ten percent discount for extended stays of four nights or more except during fall foliage period from late Sept to mid October.
The Grunberg Haus cabins are pet friendly. We welcome well behaved dogs, cats, and even birds in the cabins with prior notification ($5/night, minimum of $10) but we do not allow them in the inn.
The main source of heat is a woodstove. We supply wood, kindling, fire starter and operating instructions. The woodstoves get very hot therefore children are not allowed in the cabins.
Like the rooms in the inn, all the cabins have sheets, quilts, towels, soap and shampoo. We do housekeeping in the cabins like we do for the inn rooms.
