Vermont Travel Notes

As if architects, designers, builders and anyone interested in their work needed a reason to travel to Vermont during fall foliage, the Big Picture Theater in Waitsfield VT, will be showing more than 30 feature-length films, documentaries and shorts about how architects and designers create.

"The films profile visionary architects, the creative design process, environmental issues and the brilliant designs that we see and use every day." Filmmakers, architects and designers will also be leading discussion sessions.

The Architecture and Design Film Festival will benefit the Yestermorrow Design/Build School, Warren VT, which has over 150 hands-on courses per year in design, construction, woodworking, and architectural craft and offers a variety of courses concentrating in sustainable design.

The festival runs four days from September 24th through the 27th. Information about advance ticket sales is available on the website.
