FLY FISHING PACKAGE
Good quality fishing isn't just the number of fish per mile, it's also the number of people per mile. Vermont is known for its thousands of miles of sparkling rivers, streams, brooks, lakes, and ponds in picture postcard settings. But what sets apart the fishing experience in Vermont is what we lack: crowds. People here just expect to have a few miles of river to themselves when they go out. You can enjoy beautiful mountain scenery while searching for brook, rainbow, and brown trout, plus bass, pike and more. And most of them are wild fish, not hatchery-raised imitations.
Fish with Lawton Weber, one of Vermont's top guides and author of "Vermont Trout Streams" published by Northern Cartographic. Enjoy two peaceful nights in a cozy room or cabin, savor a full breakfast each morning, spend a full day fishing for trout or bass in our pristine mountain waters - including a relaxing mid-day break savoring Lawton's streamside lunch: rates from $505 to $705 for two people including two nights lodging, breakfasts, lunch, equipment. Tax and fishing license are extra.
We can modify this package for half day, two days or more, more or fewer people, drift boat or wading, river or lake, trout or bass, beginner or expert.
If you want to fish but not with a fly rod, we have other guides who are happy to take you fishing with spinning rods.

DINE AND ROAST PACKAGE
Start with a hearty breakfast, enjoy a day at some of the finest slopes in North America,
relax at a wonderful dinner, then top off the day relaxing in front of our fireplace and toasting some
marshmallows before bedtime in your cozy room.

- one day of discount skiing at your choice of Sugarbush, Mad River Glen (except holidays), Bolton Valley, and Stowe except Saturdays and holidays - all within 15 miles.

- for any non-skiers in your group, we have snowshoes they are welcome to use free on the forest trails behind the inn, plus sleds they are welcome to take off site . . . or we can get a fire going in the fireplace and they can catch up on their reading
The 2008/09 ski season package price based on double occupancy, depending on type of room, is $370 to $570 ($185 to $285 per person) plus tax. Each extra person in a room is $129 plus tax. We would be happy to add a second day of skiing and a second dinner for $170 plus tax, dbl occupancy. Each extra person skiing and dinner a second day is $85 plus tax.
